We’ve seen so many posts about how much creators earn on Instagram (and yep, we’ve done one too 😅) But the truth is, we’ve SAVED more money while traveling thanks to social media than we’ve actually earned! 🌍✨

Most people seem to overlook the value of free stays or activities, but as small creators, we truly appreciate them — they’ve helped us travel longer and experience so much more 🙌

Here’s how we’ve saved through content creation:
🏨 Accommodation: We’ve received a few free stays just by reaching out to hotels we discovered on IG (and got one offer directly!). We could’ve done it more often, but since we’ve been housesitting for months, we haven’t really needed it.
🎒 Products: We get tons of offers for free travel gadgets and products — but since we travel light, we only accept things we genuinely need.
🎟️ Activities: This is the big one! Most of our savings come from GetYourGuide vouchers. If you’re a travel creator with 3k+ followers, you can apply to their creator community and receive sponsored activities (£30–£200 per activity) in exchange for a reel.
