Bats In The Mine Shaft

Today we explore an old mine I discovered deep in the Mojave desert. For some reason, the mine had many dead bats on the floor and many more live ones flying about. When I turned to leave the main tunnel and could see a glimmer of light from the entrance, I noticed that the air was full of dust that had risen up from my walking. That was the most frightening thing I have seen in a mine in a long time. The risk of airborne disease in such situations is not zero.
