This original poem is the first in a series of poetry lessons for KS1 and KS2 students based on 'The Wonderful Life of Todd the Frog!'

Let's talk about how poems work! Poetry is a special kind of writing—if ordinary writing is like talking, then poetry is like singing. This video will hopefully inspire your students to grow a love for poetry and begin learning about all of the poetic devices used.
