SISTERS LOVE - NOW IS THE TIME

Sisters Love appearing in the film The Mack (1973) directed by Michael Campus and starring Max Julian and Richard Pryor. During the filming the ladies were booked at The Showcase in Oakland, CA where this scene was shot. They perform the song "Now Is The Time" during the famous scene at The Players Ball which took place on Feb. 12, 1972. The song was done live in the movie but was not included on the Motown soundtrack. There was a studio version of the song that was released on A&M in 1970. At the time the group consisted of Gwen Berry, Lillie Fort, Vermettya Royster and Jeannie Long.
