Mr Show - The Story of Everest

90s US Comedy Series "Mr Show" made a point of extending a sketch beyond where it was funny, keeping going, and then carrying on farther.
The "Everest" sketch is their finest of the form, taking a simple idea (a man falls over several times) into a whole new area.
Maybe not as technically proficient or self-contained as "The Audition" (also on here), but like Monty Python's "Bigus Dickus" sketch the fact you know what is coming next only makes it funnier.
