Use Your Own Router With Starlink Internet STATS Without Static Route!
UPDATE: Earlier I said you don't need a STATIC ROUTE added into your personal router (Not needed if you use the included router that Starlink supplies btw). Well for a while that worked however you NEED the static route added for STATS to work if you use your own purchased router.
Remember also to see the STATS you type in 192.168.100.1 into any web browser on your PC-MAC-Tablet or whatever you use to browse the internet.
NOVEMBER 2021 UPDATE: It's been noted that some users who input 192.168.100.1 in both the "Destination Network" and "Default Gateway" areas while setting up the Static Route in the router are not having success. Again when setting up the Static Route in your router try inputting the above IP in both fields as this works for a majority of routers. If that doesn't work you then have to input the WAN IP address given from Starlink to the "Default Gateway" in the Static Route in your Router. This can be found by clicking on WAN info under the Network settings in your router.
You can remove Starlinks Router completely without any harm if you would like to use your own router which like most people we like to retain our local networks and have some control over them.
