Efforts to establish Kenya’s first wildlife overpass corridor have started. The overpass will sit above the lately upgraded Moi North Lake Road, which bisects the Eburu Forest - Lake Naivasha corridor, thereby acting as a physical barrier to free movement of wildlife. Rhino Ark, KWS and local landowners are spearheading the initiative.
This also comes after the completion of the 43.4 km electric fence around Eburu forest in November 2014.
