Living with autoimmune disease
Hello everyone, i live with an autoimmune disease called Sjogren’s Syndrome (SS) and Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). I had been very confused and running to different hospitals for the treatment as to why i was going through all this . At some point I almost gave up when finally one day when i went for an eye check up the doctor referred me to a rheumatologist as he kinda figured out that i might have an autoimmune disease . I went to the rheumatologist and thats when i was clinically diagnosed with an auto immune disease : Sjogren’s Syndrome and Rheumatoid Arthritis since the blood test showed negative but the symptoms were relevant.I wasn’t aware about auto immune disease until then. I really didn’t care much and ignored the doctors advice and i didn’t take any medication prescribed by the doctor. I just carried on with my usual lifestyle . Until i started to feel worse and i was always tired. Not a single say went by with pain . I thought it was because of the long hours of work , the workloads and not enough rest . Also i lost my father in between that made me emotionally and mentally lost as well . I was fighting emotionally, mentally and physically . Everything came together at once and i didn’t realize it until there were days where i could barely focus at work , even the smallest of things felt so huge and i used to be anxious and fatigued and getting panic attacks almost all of the time. I couldn’t sleep at night and waking up in the morning was another struggle. So i went for a follow up and was asked to do the blood test where they check the Ena /Ana panels and the Ro to determine the autoimmune .This time after 3 years it showed positive , my body got all hot and sweaty , my head felt heavy , my heart was racing so loud i could hear it in my ears and i couldn’t think straight. How terribly it affects your lifestyle and quality of life. But it was all said and done. If only i had listened to the doctor and researched more and had been cautious , this wouldn’t have happened.
I started taking my medicines and worked on my lifestyle . I started to love myself and be kind to me because most of the time we forget that we need to love ourselves too .Focusing on whats important to me and my mental ,emotional and physical health. I have been researching more about autoimmune disease and checking the facts and keeping myself aware about it . Found out stress plays a vital role in developing autoimmune disease .Balance is the key . I cant say that it’s been all better but to some extent there has been some improvement.
Here i am sharing my journey of living me with an autoimmune disease for awareness and to all those who are in confusion or are still confused like i was , love yourself . Listen to your body , take a break when your body needs one before the body takes break for itself . I pray nobody has to go through this but if anyone already has , hope my videos helps i wish them healing ❤️ #autoimmunedisease #autoimmuneawareness #autoimmunenepal #mentalheath #nepal #rheumatoidarthritis #autoimmunehealing #sjogrenssyndrome #awareness #invisibleillness #chronicillness #knowledgefacts #anxiety #ocd #insomnia #reliving #slowliving #loveyourself #bekind #qualitylife #livingwithautoimmunedisease
