Automated Walls DNS Calculation | ETABS DNS Tool Tutorial

One of the main challenges I faced while working on wall design in ETABS was the Delta NS calculation output.
ETABS does not provide detailed Delta NS results for any load combination you want, and when a combination contains both maximum and minimum cases, it does not clearly differentiate between them.
So, I decided to build a Python-based tool to solve these issues.
The tool automatically:
• Extracts all load combinations directly from the ETABS model
• Reads all stories and available Pier Labels automatically
• Separates maximum and minimum cases clearly
• Generates detailed Delta NS results for the selected wall
All you need to do is choose the wall you want to design, and the tool handles the rest.
The main goal was to simplify the workflow, reduce manual work, and make the checking process faster and more reliable.
