Do yourself a favour and create this shortcut immediately

Click DaVinci Resolve (top left) - Keyboard Customization - type “delete gaps” in the search bar - set it to any available key/combo you need (ctrl, shift, delete just works for my brain) you could make it one key if you wanted to.

Don’t be the guy that deletes gaps in their timeline manually 😅
