How to Taste Scotch Whisky with a Glencairn Glass

Whisky is personal. There is no right or wrong way to drink your dram. Enjoying it is all that matters, and if you have some Raasay water on hand to open up the flavours, all the better!

You might have noticed that we use Glencairn glasses at the distillery. These nosing glasses really help us appreciate the spirit's colour, aromas, and taste. They are similar to the traditional 'Copita' sherry glasses that professional tasters use when assessing spirits.
