DCS World - Indian MiG-21 vs Pakistani MiG-19, 1971

December 16th 1971. Two Indian MiG-21s are escorting four Maruts on a ground attack mission. At one point, Flt Lt Samar Shah came down to investigate a possible enemy aircraft. When he checked his six, he spotted three Pakistani MiG-19s. A fight between those two flights would soon develop.
