How to install third party application for IPhone and IPad

The iPhone iOS is specifically designed to not allow you to install third party application, except through the App Store. The reason that Apple does this is threefold; to prevent Malware, to maintain the quality and reputation of the product, and to take a cut of every single sale.

Now, that can be bypassed two ways. The first is by jailbreaking your phone, and the second is by getting the developer to send you a Test Flight Version of their app for testing on your phone. The first method opens your phone to malware, and the second only works if you personally know the developer, and the app may stop working abruptly.
