LUGHNASADH - pagan/medievalist folk music - Hymir's Kettle

Don't forget, this tune was released on the HK collection available via Bandcamp. :)

The title says it all - the song is to put you in the vibe of the festival of Lughnasadh, after the midsummer rites of the Sun-god's sacrifice and rebirth. I was sitting in my living room one night, and picking up my Irish Bouzouki, I immediatley started playing this - without any contemplation of its creation beforehand, as happens sometimes..... It also always reminds of a certain renaissance-style dance scene in Legend of the Seeker .. The drum is very bassy, and if you're listening on something like regular laptop speakers the drum is overcome by the bouzouki/guitar/flute tracks as happens alot, so its best to hear the song through some sort of stereo speakers if possible.. The music's rights and performances are all Hymir's Kettle of course - the pictures here are utilised for entertainment purposes and remain property of their rightful owners. The pictures, naturally corresponding to the song, are of Ireland. Enjoy! leave feedback and help promote Hymir's Kettle! Heilsa
