Those Dark Places is a rules-light, story-focused roleplaying game about the darker side of space exploration and the people who travel the stars in claustrophobic, dangerous conditions.

Published by Osprey games this is a game for playing in settings like the films Alien, Outland, Silent Running, The Black Hole, Sunshine, Darkstar, Pandurom, The Thing, Event Horizon, Passengers and The Expanse, as well as video games like Dead Space.

Do I recommend...yes, but.....

Traveller ("Beowulf free trader" LBB edition is great)
Mothership (imo the key competition for Dark Places)
Star Frontiers (Yes TSR did more than just DnD)
Alien (Game over man)
Star Wars (WEG d6 obviously)
Star Trek (Fasa or STA 2d20)
