Media’s handling of Hunter Biden laptop story a ‘dereliction of duty’ by journalists
The media’s handling of the Hunter Biden laptop story is going to go down as a “watershed moment” in the changing nature of journalism, according to Recastled CEO Kosha Gada.
“At first … it was sort of a collusion or conspiracy of silence between mainstream media, for the most part with a few exceptions, and big tech in suppressing the story in October, like in the lead up to the election,” she told Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton.
“Then later on when even mainstream outlets like the New York Times … finally admitted that it was - the evidence was overwhelming to dismiss it as unverifiable, they shifted into saying it’s uninteresting or unimportant,” Ms Gada said.
“I think that that’s just a dereliction of duty by journalists.”
