1976 Corvette Stingray Restoration

This video chronicles the amazing transformation of a run-of-the-mill 1976 Corvette Stingray.

It's taken me, so far, over six years to build, restore, and modify my 1976 Corvette C3 Stingray to its current state. One where I can simply jump in, turn the key, and drive it anywhere without worry.

This has been a labor of love rather than money, even though I've spent plenty of it. But to some of us, that's part of the fun and enjoyment of owning an American classic car.

A complete restoration means taking a car completely apart and separating the body from the frame, but this is nothing more than semantics. In other words, whatever! Call it fixing, repairing, refurbishing, or any other synonym that may apply.

I choose to call it by many names depending on the system or part I may be discussing, mainly because I hate using the same word over and over.

And speaking of words, TRANSFORMATION also applies, and the term is justified. I don't think either of the two previous owners would recognize the car in its current condition.

But I digress.

I was unable to include every single thing I've done to my 76 Corvette in this timelapse. In some cases, I did not shoot videos or took pictures. And I did not use all of the photos I have. Otherwise, it would have been a three-hour-long video.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it and maybe derive a few ideas and/or inspiration to start a Corvette build or transformation of your own.

Thank you for watching! 🙂👍🏻
