The Book of the Damned is the complete works of Charles Fort who through the 20's and 30's collected strange and bizarre stories from newspapers and publications going back hundreds of years concerning all manner of topics from meteorology and astronomy to time travel and animal life and wrote four books about them and his observations of the world at the time. He concluded that we are being controlled by a hidden race who see us as property and use us like cattle. This man was way ahead of his time.
