Uzbekistan 2019 - Tashkent

After an overnight flight from London, Heathrow we went straight to our lovely International Hotel. After settling in we set out for a bit of exploring on our way to the Khazrati Imam Architectural Complex. We stopped to view the Monument of Courage Earthquake Memorial which commemorates the disaster in April 1966. Upon arrival at Khazrati Imam Architectural Complex we saw our first samples of some amazing turquoise/blue decorated architecture in a Persian theme. The wood carving was fantastic with amazing detail.
