Today I made hand dipped candles for the first time. I really enjoy learning about how our ancestors lived and made everything they needed. One of my goals in the future is to be able to make everything that I need to survive (or at least most of it!) While I don't currently live on acres and acres of land, I can still learn how to garden, ferment foods, make clothes, and so much more. Our ancestors would have grown up doing these things, but in this generation we have to make it intentional. Its a learning process but I'm just taking things one step at a time!
