BAKING SODA AND WATER (ONLY) Deep cleaning wash | Remove build up! | Hair transformation
Washed my hair with baking soda/bicarbonate and warm water only to remove build up. I had faux locs for 7 weeks or so and my hair was so full of build up.
I knew about the ACV rinse where both Apple Cider Vinegar and baking soda are used but decided to experiment with baking soda only and see if it works. It did work very well😁. I was surprised at how clean my hair turned out.
I used 50g of baking soda with half a bucket of warm to hot water. I then dipped my hair for 5 minutes, massaged it into the hair and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. I then rinsed my hair. I prefer using warm water for every step. After rinsing I then washed the hair with soap and voila.... It was clean ☺️!!
You can also use baking soda and warm water in the ratio 1:4 to make a paste and apply it to your hair.. Let it sit for a few minutes then wash.
I didn't show you the water after soaking because i felt it was too disgusting 😂😂😂. I couldn't just do it.
I wasn't also planning to post this until a subscriber convinced me. I am glad I had made some videos for myself to just document the transformation.
Anyway I was happy with the results. I was also happy that I didn't have to use my Apple Cider Vinegar😁.
*I am no guru. I was just trying out something that ended up working for me. This is not professional advice 😊*
