Serial Experiments Lain is a hard anime to recommend because of its want to be so deeply sophisticated; burying its social thesis so deep that many have to make speculations in order for the show to actually make sense.
I watched this anime for the first time during the Corona Virus panhkrvhufhrh-emic and it only had my curiosity as a driving force to finish. ONLY my curiosity and my want to finish what I started so that I would get all question answered and leave no stone unturned. It failed. In my personal opinion animation was great, there is some "story" to follow, and are style was adorable at times, not at others. If a story is unable to have the audience fully understand the point it was trying to make without the aid of external knowledgeable resources (for example interviewing the author on what the scenes actually meant, or there being a separate DVD that explains one scene of the show. . .stuff like that) then the media has FULLY failed at telling said story.
Either way, this song from the anime along with Duvet, and a few others, was really nice. AGAIN, unfortunately the people who already did it did not do a good job. The songs just clipped to a repeat and one just ended and one kurfufled here and there. . .. . . it was a mess. So here you guy, this is MY VERSION of how the song should be extended.
