That's when you're All wrong! because This is a Video, Defending a Line "It's not Lying, It's looking at Things another way" that was Notoriously and Rightfully Said by Prince Fiyero Tigelaar to Elphaba Thropp AKA The Literal Wicked witch of The West After Their Duet, As Long As You're Mine actually, The line was placed after the song in the Broadway Musical but In Wicked: For Good (2025), The Sequel to the First Wicked Movie Did Something That Both Unexpected and Shockingly Positively Very Special to This Line, Instead of Placing This after the Song like in the Musical, The Movie Did Something That Drastically Changes The Placing of This Line in The Song Itself Since This Version of the Song (Sung by Iconic English Actors from London, Cynthia Erivo and Jonathan Bailey) Is actually now been Toned down to Fit The Family And Child Friendly Geographic That was Suited for Since This is a Kid's movie and to Probably and Definitely Avoid the PG-13 Rating for This (Considering that In the Screenplay for This Movie, As long as you're mine was Originally Going to be even More Romantic and Spicy Like The Original Broadway Musical and that would've actually Featured Elphaba Literally Taking off Fiyero's Clothes while singing, Both of them Cornering Each other, Fiyero Reverting back to His Playboy Persona to Corner Elphaba only for her to Escape him and Elphaba, Just I Literally Kid you not and Not Joking with you Since The Screenplay actively Made her The Romantic Object....... Just Gently Pushed Fiyero, Who Has His Shirt Off Into the Bed which was Her Bed By the Way and just Go Freaky with Each other Making it The Original Novel's Levels of Explicit but More Romantic and Spicy than the Broadway Musical, which Also was Reportedly Filmed before the final Version was out and Probably would've Lasted for......... 20 MINUTES?!?! LITERALLY!!!! OH MY GOD!!!! ARE YOU BLOODY SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?!?! and Thankfully in the Final Version of the Movie, It was Toned down to the More Family and Child Friendly Geographic That was always Suitable for Since This is Literally a PG Rated Movie for God's Sake) Since It Did Feature Fiyero Taking off his Clothes and His Suspenders, and More Importantly Since He Sings the song with Elphaba with a Nearly Buttoned Shirt Considering that after that we got A Shirtless Fiyero who is seen Cradling Elphaba (God, I Can't with the Height Distances between These Two in this Movie) Implying That like With What Happened Originally (Ahem! The Screenplay) after The Song that Elphaba and Fiyero Were Hooking up doing Adult Things to Each other Off-screen and It Was Changed, From (Unlike in the Original Version of As long as you're mine in the Musical since I'm Giving Cynthia Erivo The Credit that she deserves for this Performance in this version of the song Alone) Showing Elphaba and Fiyero Being Separated from Each other in the Start of the Song, Elphaba's Vulnerability, Fears, Her Self-hatred and Insecurities of Being Loved on-screen (Who am I Kidding, we all know That wasn't even the first time we ever seen Elphaba's Vulnerability Since the First Movie) and Her actually Struggling to Accept the Fact that Fiyero has Chosen her, The Wicked witch of The West over Glinda Leaving her for someone who Everyone in Oz Hates, Deems Wicked and Wanted Dead on Their Wedding day and With the Fact that She's Worthy of being Loved and Accepted by One Singular Person for who She truly is as a Person Led to Fiyero saying This Line to Elphaba while on his knees Kneeling before her to meet her in Where she is to Tell her that he's not lying to her since She's Obviously not going to Believe Him and Thinks that he's lying to her. and after all, This is Actually Understandably Relatively New for her to Navigate Positive and Romantic Attention for someone like her to actually Experience firsthand of being Chosen and Genuinely Loved, Accepted and Actually Desired Romantically by Someone else who would never Hate her for Her Green Skin, Reputation, Her Powers, Nothing! and Being The Person of Someone's Genuine Heart's Desire is so Hard for This Poor Woman to Navigate but It Took a while to accept the fact that she's Worthy of being Loved and Is Always Seen Beautiful because The Message behind This Movie and This version of the Song is to Reject Social Perception and Public Reputation and to Embrace Truth no matter what everyone thinks of you and That's shown here in this Scene and that's one of the Main reasons why I Love this version of the song and wanted to Defend Fiyero and His Words Because He's Right.
