Alexander Hamilton Makes Halftime at Soldier Field

The Northwestern University "Wildcat" Marching Band performs their halftime show at Soldier Field as the Chicago Bears open their season against the Philadelphia Eagles on September 19, 2016.

The Wildcat Band's halftime show features a special arrangement of the music of "Hamilton," composed by the Associate Music Director of the New York production, NUMBALUM Ian Weinberger '09, preceded by themes from Les Misérables. Sheldon Harnick '49 won a Tony Award as lyricist for "Fiddler on the Roof," and the Wildcat Band concludes its halftime program with the iconic "Bottle Dance."

The "Wildcat" Band is led on the field by Drum Majors Anglea Yang, Amanda Hermans, and Allison Grant. The Director of Digital Media is Mr. Daniel M. Reck '08 MSEd, the Director of Bands is Dr. Mallory Thompson, and the Director of the "Wildcat" Marching Band is Mr. Daniel J. Farris.
