May Budget 2021 | Saving for a Home AND Retirement

It’s time for a May #Budget and this one is full of a lot of changes! I’m really excited about being able to make my money start to work for me! Normally, @The Ramsey Show - Highlights recommends to save for a downpayment on a home (3B) or invest 15% of your income towards retirement. I’ll have a video that talks about this more in-depth, but I’m doing BOTH!

You’ll notice in my budget some new line items like “Home Savings,” and “Retirement” and see that M1 Finance is increased a bit as well. I’m starting to dip my toe into the investing waters and while I’m extremely new to investing, I’m learning SO MUCH and having so much fun.
