I Took Your Advice and I went back to Nigeria | Moving to Canada
3 years after moving to Canada, I went back to Nigeria!! After I dropped my video on why I regret coming to Canada, the most recurring theme was "go back to your country"
Well I took the advice and I went back to Nigeria, Oh boy! Now, don’t get me wrong I love that country to pieces but I love the comfort and life I have here in Canada.
Basic amenity is still a luxury that everyone cannot afford, the trivial things I take for granted here will cost me a premium in Nigeria. Which makes me value my move to Canada even more.
Canada isn't perfect but there are less things to worry about like power, internet, water and co, these things are too basic that they’re considered non-trivial over here but in Nigeria is good enough reasons to make someone consider moving to Canada. Let’s not even add the exchange rate that keep devaluating. Those were some of the challenges I faced in Nigeria which hasn't changed from my experience in 2018 when I left before I moved to Canada
Going back to Nigeria was an eye opener that helped me appreciate my life in Canada.
