Autodesk “Gwen & Dave” is s fun 3D short created at Hatch Studios Ltd. for Autodesk. It was aired at Siggraph 2012 and was produced externally by Shawn Hendriks from Autodesk who is always a pleasure to work with.

As with most character pieces, there was a substantial amount of work done here with regards to just about every aspect of CGI, including modeling, texturing and especially animation.

The rigging was done exclusively by Paul Neale at Pen Productions.

The short was created with 3ds Max 2009. The rendering was produced using Mental Ray and required outsourced help at Autodesk in California as well as internally at Hatch Studios.
