Poppy Live in 4K FULL CONCERT 2022 PLUS Concert Review

Poppy and her accompanying band were the warm-up to a concert featuring Jane's Addiction and The Smashing Pumpkins. The seats were still half empty. With her hair tied up in a pony and an oversized black button up shirt and sporting big boots, Poppy looked like a local who had just come onstage as a last minute gig; definitely not like rockstar material for the older concertgoers who were looking to “rock out” with Janes Addiction and The Smashing Pumpkins

BUT she kicked some major ass and turned me into an instant fan. When it was over I wanted MORE! I can't wait to see a real full show of hers with my daughter.

If attendees thought they could just glaze over Poppy’s set while waiting for the main bands to come on stage, they thought wrong. It didn’t take many of her awing high-pitched, guttural screams that left the skin crawling for those seated to have their eyes glued to the stage, it was mesmerizing. Her live act is a totally different experience than her recorded material.

Did I mention her guitar player shreds!!!

The energy was there, the guitar riffs, and the sudden power chord-changes that halted into abrupt melodies left an impression on everyone in Anaheim. If this had been her own concert, she could have been done more justice. Yet she was forced to end short of her twenty-minute set time due to being the first act.
