‘Important’: Albanese government must find savings in budget to offset fuel excise cut

Shadow Assistant Minister for International Development Dave Sharma says the government must find savings in the budget to offset the halving of the fuel excise.

This comes as fuel shortages are affecting both commuters and businesses across Australia.

“The cuts to the fuel excise, I think it’s important now … but we would like to see the government find savings to offset this,” Mr Sharma told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
