The Lockville Dam Powerhouse, Moncure NC

A quick look at the defunct Lockville Dam's Powerhouse on the Deep River -- the place where the water rushing down the spillway would power the generator and create electricity for the customers connected to it.

The hydroelectric setup is long shut down, but is well maintained by its owners and ostensibly could power a mill or even create electricity again in the future.
