Ric Carbi . I started singing from early growing with a Father who had a sound system and a Mother who was a ardent choir member. I had no choice but embrace the sounds of music . Sabbath morning was Jim Reeves and Skeeta Davis Sunday evenings was Alton Ellis and John Holt quite a contrast but my influence stem from these records that played in my home.
Through the passage of time I developed as a singer that loved the art of performing and writing emulating the artiste that I loved listening Dennis Brown Maxi Priest Stevie Wonder Luther Vandross and more .
Fast forward today I am embarking on this journey or this career . It's my passion from ever since but life has its way where it takes full circle before taking you to your gravity moment and to say now I am it's the moment I have always dreamt of to do my music .
Now working with different music labels and producers I am executive producing my debut EP this year which is currently under construction. Songs to date Warriors a feature with Dohlance made it to the BBC 1xtra playlist a couple years ,Wakings ,rotated heavily on the local attracting and still generating fans locally. Other songs currently out Smoking the Highest feat Dohlance and another feature on the Things will Change for Needknot productions.
There are shows planned for this year as well as other releases from Producers to hit the streets.
