This is where I check if products will be safe for my acne prone skin. If it has a 3 or above in the acne column, I don’t buy the product.

To check if a product is cruelty free, a google search usually does the trick. Just look out for the brands that say they are cruelty free, but still sell in China. This means they will test on animals where required by law. If you are having a hard time finding an answer, it’s a good rule of thumb to assume they do. Usually brands want this positive information known, so it’s a red flag for me when I can’t find the info in less than 1 min.
