The last speaker swap video for a while...! Today, we'll be looking at the three premium alnico speakers from Celestion: the Gold, Cream & Blue. I'll be putting all three into my lovely Dr Z DB4 amp and seeing what tonal differences occur.

These speakers have very different power ratings - the Blue is only 15w. So, I'll be running the DB4 in half-power mode (18w) and not turning it up too high...we'll still be at the limit of what that speaker can handle, so hopefully it won't explode!

With the power differences, obviously these speakers are aimed at very different amplifiers. But it's often asked on forums what the fundamental tonal differences are...so let's have a look!
