“How do you have a home that feels like it’s been here for two hundred years when it’s really been here for ten?” Parker Kelley asks homeowner Jean-Marc about his home in Nahant, Massachusetts.

It’s true, the home, which overlooks the North Shore and Massachusetts Bay looks as if it could have sailed across the Atlantic from distant land centuries ago. The design was meant to capture homeowner Jean-Marc’s childhood, which he spent in France and on Cape Cod. “His goal, because of these influences, was to create a modern reproduction of an eighteenth century French home that also functioned as a barefoot friendly, often-sandy beach house,” says New England Living TV host Parker Kelley.
