Cutting a Dark Base Coober Pedy Opal Noodling Find With a Dremel Flex Shaft

Back to helping the youngest noodling expert cut up some of his Coober Pedy opals. This time we are looking at an unusual piece of rough with some flashy promise. It cuts quite an interesting stone thats almost like two opals glued together slightly misaligned.
Basic process is a sintered diamond burr to scrub the crust away then follow it up with a range of nova tips from 280 to 3000. Finally polish with cerium oxide on felt.
