No title is more fitting for this particular single than “Long Way to Huntsville.” Not only lyrically for the story that the song depicts, but for the sole fact that Jack Nelson has been on a long, grueling, and arduous journey since releasing his previous run of singles nearly 5 years ago (to the day) off of his debut album “Let ‘er Buck!”

In this song, Jack gives a tip-of-the-hat to the city that helped him launch his music career upon departing the U.S. Navy many years ago. Check out the trailer for it here!

Fun fact: In 2018 over 65,000 inmates were processed out of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. All of them get processed out of and through Huntsville, TX.
