Wally’s acting career began with “BurgerMan” in 1970 teaming up with filmmaker/best friend Thomas Guest. The young college filmmakers continued filming living on Kauai, Hawaii. With their Super 8 equipment they made wild surf movies and the classic, "Dumpman", the sad, yet heartwarming classic boy-meets-girl; but in the dump, oh yeah, and a chimpanzee. Wally and Thomas went on to act in “Jesus Christ Superstar” filmed in the Holy Lands in 1971.
