Ivan & Vivian Hicks - A Life of Fiddle Music

Ivan and Vivian Hicks have been entertaining audiences for decades, and have dedicated their lives to preserving and promoting old-time fiddling not only in Atlantic Canada, but also throughout North America. While their music has roots steeped in the tradition of "old-time fiddle",  they ensure that their approach is getting music into the hearts and minds of people in a modern and innovative way.
Their home just outside of Moncton, New Brunswick is a living museum featuring decades of music experiences. In this video, our Back at Home series gets to hear (and see) the stories of how Ivan and Vivian Hicks became such well-known entertainers in the world of Old-time fiddle music. Ivan is a member of the North American Fiddlers Hall of Fame, and along with his wife Vivian, also inducted into the New Brunswick Country Music Hall of Fame.
