How To Make uTorrent Faster

If you want to make uTorrent faster, follow these tips and tricks.
This uTorrent tutorial is on Windows so the uTorrent layout is different on Mac, but some of the tips will apply to Mac as well.
Make sure to download 1 torrent at a time.
The more torrents you try to download, the slower it'll download for the one you want.
Next tip is with uTorrent, always make sure you have the most updated version. Click Help - Check for Updates.
On the torrent itself, right click, go to Bandwidth Allocation, set it to High. That goes for each torrent you want to download faster.
Go to Options - Preferences.
In General tab, click on Automatically Install Updates if you want to always have the latest version of uTorrent.
Go to Connections tab. Change Port to 45682.
Check 'Enable uPnP port mapping' - you want to have all 3 of those checked except 'Randomize port each start'
Go to Bandwidth. Find 'Global Maximum Number of Connections' - set it to 500.
Do the same for 'Connected Peers' below it.\
Make sure to click Apply after each change you make.
Go to BitTorrent tab. At the bottom, find 'Protocol Encryption' - open the dropdown, set it to 'Forced'. Click Apply.
Go to Queuing tab. If you want to only download 1 torrent at a time, set the Maximum number of active downloads to 1.
Go to Advanced, click the Plus icon. Go to Disk Cache
Check 'Override automatic cache size and specify the size manually (MB), set it to 1800. Click Apply.
