Cherry Crumble Bars | Vegan, Gluten & Refined Sugar Free | Healthy Oat Bars
These Cherry Crumble Bars make for that perfect Vegan and Gluten-Free dessert that you can easily whip up any day and make it a special one !! They're made with oats and free from refined sugar, which makes them a tasty, healthy, indulgent treat to enjoy !
INGREDIENTS
*2 cup Oats flour/ ओट आटा
*1 tsp Baking powder/ बेकिंग पाउडर
*1/4 tsp Salt/ नमक
*1/4 cup Jaggery powder or Coconut sugar for the crumble/ गुड़ पाउडर
*1/4 cup Coconut oil/ नारियल तेल
*1/2 tsp Vanilla extract/ वनिला
*250 gm seedless Cherry/ चेरी
*1 tbsp Corn flour/ कॉर्न फ़्लावर
*4 tbsp Jaggery powder or Coconut sugar for cherries/ गुड़ पाउडर
*2 tbsp Water
INSTRUCTIONS
1- In a medium sized bowl, add seedless cherries followed by corn flour and jaggery powder. Give a good mix and then add the cherries on a medium heated pan. Add water and cook the cherries till they become soft. Turn off the heat and let them cool completely.
2- Add some oats in a blender to make oat flour. Add the oat flour in a large bowl followed by salt, baking powder, jaggery powder, vanilla extract and coconut oil. Using your hand, give a good mix until everything is well combined.
3- Transfer the crumble in a parchment paper lined baking pan ( make sure to keep aside about 2 tbsp of it to use later )and using a spoon press it down. Spread the cherries and sprinkle the remaining 2 tbsp crumble.
3- Bake it in a preheated oven at 180°C/ 350°F for 30 minutes. Allow to cool for sometime, cut into bars and enjoy !!
