In this clip, Omar Gooding opened up about growing up in the Los Angeles-area with his two siblings, including his brother, Cuba Gooding Jr. From there, Omar spoke about his father, Cuba Gooding Sr., being the lead singer of the group The Main Ingredient, who are known for their hit song, "Everybody Plays the Fool." Despite his success, Omar revealed that his father was blacklisted after going to South Africa during apartheid. After falling on hard times, the Gooding family was homeless, which Omar says didn't really bother him as much because it was all he knew.
