How to Install Oracle Forms & Reports 12c | DB 12cR1 | Windows 10 | Part 4

Today we are going to Install Oracle Forms and Reports 12c (12.2.1.2.0) with Database 12c Release 1 in Windows 10 InshaAllah. Part 4

Creating Forms
a. Open "Form Builder", press "Ctrl+J", provide credential (hr/hr@orcl12) & hit Connect button.
b. Click on "Data Blocks" and press "+" button.
c. Option will be "Use the Data Block Wizard", hit "OK" button, & click on "Next" button.
d. Option will be "Table or View" hit "Next" button.
e. Click on "Browse" button, select "Employees"
f. Click on "Move all items to target" & hit "Next" button twice.
g. Hit "Finish" button.
h. Layout Wizard appear, hit "Next" button twice.
i. Click on "Move all items to target" button, hit "Next" button twice.
j. Option will be "Form" hit "Next" button twice.
k. Click on "Finish" button.
l. Navigate to "Edit" tab & select "Preferences", We are in "General" tab, hit "Browse" button along with "Web Browser:", assign Web Browser Location
& hit "OK" button.
m. Come to this path "C:\Forms_and_Reports12c", create folder "OB12c_Project" & under this folder we create 2 folder with name "Forms" & "Reports".
n. Copy this path "C:\Forms_and_Reports12c\OB12c_Project\Forms", come to "EM" click on "Target Navigation" in Left pane
o. Expand "Forms", click on "forms1", click on "Environment Configuration" tab, come to "FORMS_PATH" press "Home" button & paste
"C:\Forms_and_Reports12c\OB12c_Project\Forms;" to "Value" area, hit "Apply" button.
p. When "Changes have been applied." appear click back arrow, come to "Web Configuration" tab open it.
q. Provide "100%" to "Value" for "Width" and "height", hit "Apply" then "Close" button.
r. Come to Form Builder then "File" tab and select "Save As..." option, "File name:" is "Employee", "Save as type:" is "Forms(*.fmb)" & path will be
"C:\Forms_and_Reports12c\OB12c_Project\Forms", hit "Save" button.
s. Run Form (Ctrl+R)
t. Hit "Activate Java(TM) Platform SE 8 U.", hit "Allow and Remember", Check on "I accept the risk.." & press "Run" button.
u. Check your form while hitting "Execute Query" button.

Reports Configuration
a. Come to this path "C:\12c_FR12\MW12\oracle_common\common\bin"
b. Run "wlst" Windows Command Script with "Administrator" rights, when "wls:/offline" appear then type this "connect("weblogic","Weblogic123","localhost:7001");
hit "Enter" button.
c. When "Successfully connected.." appear & we are at "wls:/omarbaig_domain/serverConfig/"
type this "createReportsToolsInstance(instanceName='OmarBaigReportsTools',machine='AdminServerMachine')" (omarbaig_domain, OmarBaigReportsTools is my choice you
can use your own.)
d. When "Reports Tools instance "OmarBaigReportsTools" was successfully created" appear then close it.
e. Come to "EM" & expand "Weblogic Domain" option, navigate to "System MBean Browser"
f. Navigate to "Application Defined MBeans" expand it, navigate to "oracle.reportsApp.config" expand it.
g. Expand "Server: WLS_REPORTS, Application: reports, ReportsApp", click on "rwservlet"
h. Select "yes" from "Value" drop down of "allowhtmltags", scroll down select "L2" from "Value" drop down of "WebcommandAccess", hit "Apply" button.
i. Click on "rwserver", come to "Operations" tab, click on "addEnvironment"
j. Type "EN" in "Value" area & hit "Invoke" button.
k. Click on "Click to refresh" button, Expand "rwserver, ReportsApp.Environment", click on "EN", come to "Operations" tab, click on "addEnvVariable"
l. Provide "NLS_LANG", & "American_America.AR8MSWIN1256" to "EnvVariable Name" & "EnvVariable Value" respectively, hit "Invoke" button. (Remain in rwserver, ReportsApp.Environment)
m. Come to windows search area & type "regedit" & open "Registry Editor", come to "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Oracle\KEY_OracleHome1", Double click
on "NLS_LANG" & provide "American_America.AR8MSWIN1256" to "Value data:" & "OK" button.
n. Come to "KEY_OraDB12Home1", Double click on "NLS_LANG" & provide "American_America.AR8MSWIN1256" to "Value data:" & hit "OK" button.
o. Come to "KEY_OracleHome1", Double click on "REPORTS_PATH", copy values, Come to "EM" type "REPORTS_PATH" & paste value then type ; then provide this path
"C:\Forms_and_Reports12c\OB12c_Project\Reports" to "EnvVariable Value" & press "Invoke" button.
p. Type "NLS_DATE_FORMAT" & provide "DD-MON-YYYY" to "EnvVariable Value" & press "Invoke" button.
q. Type "USER_NLS_LANG" & provide "American_America.AR8MSWIN1256" to "EnvVariable Value" & press "Invoke" button.
r. Expand "ReportsApp.Engine", click on "rwEng", come to "Attributes" tab, provide "EN" to "DefaultEnvid"
s. Scroll till you find "MaxEngine" provide "5" to Value area & press "Apply" button.
t. Click on "rwURLEng", provide "EN" to "DefaultEnvid"
u. Scroll till you find "MaxEngine" provide "5", provide "1" to "MinEngine" to Value area & press "Apply" button.
