The Simple Trick for Bubble Free Epoxy – Warm Water Life Hack

Craft Resin Table Top epoxy is a high-viscosity, thick formula, sensitive to its environment. Warming your resin is the easiest way to improve clarity and flow and ensure a crystal-clear, glass-like finish for your DIY resin projects. This video is a guide on how to warm up Table Top resin before mixing and pouring to reduce air bubbles.

🌡 Cold resin is thick – it traps air during mixing. This leads to a cloudy, bubbled finish that is hard to fix with a torch. Do not try to warm the resin after mixing – this speeds up the chemical reaction, cuts your working time and can cause the resin to overheat.

💧The best method to prepare your resin is a warm water bath. Place your sealed bottles in warm water: around 29°C (85°F) for 15 minutes. Always warm Part A and Part B separately before you combine them. This reduces the viscosity without rushing the cure. Warmed up resin will flow smoothly, with no tiny air bubbles.

💡Remember to dry the bottles completely before opening them. Epoxy resin does not work with water, and even a tiny droplet of water can ruin your entire mix.
