CULTURECAM 2025

Photo Hub North is proud to introduce CultureCam a bold and inspiring project. At the heart of CultureCam is a mission to connect people through creativity, heritage and hands on learning. During the summer months, Nellie will travel across the Bradford and Keighley districts delivering 21 free workshops to schools, community groups and events. Participants will be invited to step into a working camera obscura to see the world upside down! They will learn how a camera works and have the opportunity to have their portraits taken using only Nellie the camera-van and plant-based darkroom techniques. This will see the creation of over 300 portraits that celebrate the diversity, identity and imagination of the city.
