I created a solar tracker system that automatically follows the sun's movement. The solar panel rotates on its own to always face the sun directly, maximizing energy capture without manual adjustment. This interesting DIY project uses a TDA2822 IC for precise control, along with two LDR sensors, two potentiometers (tank resistances), a gear motor, and a battery for power and storage.

Key Components & Circuit Design
The TDA2822 IC serves as the core differential amplifier, comparing light levels from the two LDRs positioned on opposite sides of the panel. When one LDR detects stronger sunlight, the IC outputs a signal to drive the gear motor, smoothly turning the panel toward the optimal angle. Potentiometers adjust sensitivity for different lighting conditions, while the battery powers the system and stores excess solar charge for later use. This analog circuit eliminates the need for microcontrollers, keeping it simple and cost-effective.
