There have been more twists from Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou’s extradition case. After the Canadian justice department gave the go-ahead to launch proceedings on her extradition to the US last Friday, her defense team announced on Sunday they will sue the Canadian government, its border agency and the national police force for seriously breaching her constitutional rights. What is she accusing the Canadian government of? What does this case, if proven in court, say about the rule of law in Canada?
