Sequence 1: Installation of self-adhering air and water-resistive barrier DELTA®-VENT SA in strip-in method without pre-fabricated window corners for a rebate window.

DELTA®-VENT SA is a premium self-adhesive water-resistive and air barrier. Highly vapor permeable, water-tight, and aggressively self-adhering. The only self-adhering WRB and air barrier with the security of a self-adhesive edge lap.
DELTA®-VENT SA eliminates leaks at fasteners and helps improve the performance of the building enclosure with increased air-tightness.
DELTA®-VENT SA not only passes, but also dramatically exceeds the most stringent requirements of the Air Barrier Association of America (ABAA) and of the National Building Code of Canada (NBC 2010) based on the results of ASTM E2357 - 11 Standard Test Method for Determining Air Leakage of Air Barrier Assemblies.
DELTA®-VENT SA is a three ply membrane. It has a printed top layer of spun-bonded polypropylene. The center is a vapor-permeable water-tight polymeric sheet. The adhesive is applied to the bottom layer of spun bonded polypropylene. This provides DELTA®-VENT SA with high tensile strength and reliable long term adhesion. DELTA®-VENT SA passes ASTM D 1970 Nail Sealability test for sealing around fasteners.
