If you're looking for an amazing pet snake, the best pet snake, it doesn't have to be a corn snake or a ball python. Sometimes you might be better off with the amazing color and pattern of the Bismarck Ringed Python from the islands you've never heard of. Or maybe you like large colubrids, really big colubrids really and are in the market for a Pituophis genus type of snake like a bull snake or gopher snake or even a pine snake? These make great options for pet snakes too and are easily found especially here in North America! Don't forget about Woma pythons from Australia with their amazing feeding response, similar to Black Headed Pythons without the price tag in a smaller package. Macklots Pythons in all their glory, or their cousin Savu Pythons, a bit more popular and sometimes even more easily found, with that amazing iridescence and semi arboreal behavior. But the Colombian Rainbow Boa takes the cake with their ease of care compared to their Brazilian Rainbow Boa cousins. Amazing colour that even changes from night to day.
