STUNG BY a YELLOW JACKET!

Hey everyone! So sorry for the small delay in producing content! I was finally able to get out and get something filmed; a sting video no less! I had my wife help me film and I think she did a great job! Yellow jackets are some of the most beautiful wasps in North America in my opinion, and have a wonderfully complex social structure! These insects spend the majority of their time constructing their nests, gathering food, and tending to their larvae. During the cooler months, larger reproductive yellow jackets will burrow into logs to stay safe from the cold, and can often be uncovered in the fall! These are such beautiful wasps, and they pack quite a punch! Have you ever been stung by a yellow jacket?
