How Far Can You Go?

The farlands are pretty strange and mysterious but what other weird things happen to your world as you go further and further out, even into the billions of blocks, and why do the farlands actually generate in the firstplace? And of course, how far can you go in minecraft? ALSO, i know videos like this are right up antvenom's ally, this is kinda a one time thing on the farlands with the next video being something completely different.
